Cisco Systems Inc, a technology solutions company, has reiterated its commitment to empowering women and increasing their participation in the traditionally male high-technology industry.
The technology company in a statement on Monday said it had designed programmes and committed resources to helping women develop their skills as individual contributors, managers, and executives through an internal employee resource group dedicated to the development of women.

Given this, their decision to close the gap between genders is one that truly needed to be done with a conscious effort.
